HDFC Bank has launched Infinia Metal version on 18 October 2021. From here the old version of Infinia will not be released for a fresh release at all. The new Infinia comes with perks like free 3rd night at many ITC hotels and 1+1 on weekend buffets. However, one of the notable benefits of the earlier in the process is getting exhausted.
The long-term benefit of Infinia has been 2x points on dining, as long as you pay with your Infinia at a standalone dining outlet, such as Smokehouse Deli or Punjab Grill or KFC, etc. Simply put, as long as you are paying more than INR 150 for your food, instead of spending 5 RP/INR 150, you will be spent 10 RP/INR 150 in case of food shops. The new Infinia Metal Card will not be eligible for 2X points on dining benefit, and this old benefit is being removed, effective from December 1, 2021, for PVC cards.
