HDFC Bank in partnership with Mastercard has launched an offer on contactless transactions using Tap N Pay wherein cardholders can avail 5X reward points or 1% cashback. Let us check out the details of different offers on credit and debit cards to know more.

- Period: 15 December 2020 to 31 January 2021
- minimum cost: Minimum 5 transactions of Rs. 500 or more

- Proposal: 1% Cashback on Contactless Transactions on HDFC Debit Cards
- Period: 15 December 2020 to 31 January 2021
- minimum cost: Rupee. 1,000 per transaction
- maximum cashback: Rupee. 50

Though the reward rate of this offer is very good, but the low limit of maximum benefits kills the happiness. I wish HDFC Bank should have provided higher limit on benefits especially for debit cards. Still, this is a great offer and contactless transactions are the way forward.
As per RBI order, you can only transact up to Rs 50,000. 2,000 using the contactless facility on your card.
