Axis Bank has recently launched its new “Travel Edge” portal wherein one can earn/redeem their Axis Edge reward points like hotel/flight and experience for travel.
It is more or less similar to HDFC SmartBuy, not only in their functionality but also in its promos. Axis Bank has come up with attractive 10X and 20X reward promos for a limited period on its Travel Edge portal. Here’s everything you need to know.

It’s a great offer, except it takes 120 days to complete – that’s 4 months, damn it! Also, it’s surprising to see no max. hat on it.
But the way they displayed the validity period in t&c, it makes me wonder if they are considering the 1L monthly cap for reward points that they do with their other ongoing 3X rewards promos. It doesn’t seem like that for now, but maybe in the future!

- 12.5% (Flights) or 25% (Hotels & Experiences) on Axis Magnus
- 20% (flights) or 30% (hotels and experiences) on Axis Reserve

are talking about Travel Age Portal, it’s a bit slow and it takes time to pull city names while typing. You need some patience to use the website and I am not sure if the site is really functional, as I get this error most of the time.

While it is amazing to see Axis Bank coming up with 20X reward on Axis Travel Edge, it would be nice if they do the same with Axis Gift Edge (Instant Voucher), as 5X or 10X is too little for Axis Bank credit cards . That point price is barely 20Ps, the lowest ever in the industry.
Moreover, fulfillment and technology are the most important aspects, if Axis Bank should focus on going ahead for the cardholders to actually make use of these benefits.
If Amex can fulfill reward on gift voucher purchase in 3 days and if HDFC can fulfill other 5X/10X offer in 30-90 days, then I think Axis can do even better than 120 days.
