Axis card is also blocked through SMS,
you can block Axis Bank’s credit card in many ways. The special thing is that you can also block it through an SMS. Sending this message is very easy. To block your card, send BLOCK XXXX to 5676782. Here XXXX is the last 4 digits of your card number. Make sure to send SMS from mobile number registered with credit card.
Through Axis Mobile App App-
You have to click on Banking in Axis Bank’s mobile app, now click on Services option. After that go to Credit Card. On the next screen you have to choose Block & Replace Card. After that block the card immediately.
Through Internet Banking-
First of all login to Axis Bank Internet Banking. Enter User ID and Password and go to Account. After this, you can block the card by going to My Cards and then More Services.
For payment of up to Rs 5000 from a contactless card, PIN is not necessary to
state that the facility of ‘Tap and Pay’ is also available in the card equipped with contactless technology i.e. without swiping the card, payment can be made by simply tapping on the POS machine. . You can pay up to Rs 5000 with a contactless card without entering a PIN.
